Al Anbar Investment Commission holds its Second Annual
Investment Conference.
 Ramadi:
August 23, 2011 - Under the patronage of His Excellency
Vice President Tariq Al-Hashimi,
and the motto "Continuous
investment for a stable tomorrow",
Al Anbar Investment Commission announces the debut of
registration, and the availability of sponsorship opportunities
of Al Anbar 2nd Annual International Investment Conference 2011,
that will be held on October 24 -26, 2011 in Istanbul, Turkey.
The Conference aims at opening new and unlimited horizons for an
all-out investment in Al Anbar, the largest Iraqi Governorate,
in various sectors, especially in the fields of oil and natural
gas. Companies will learn about the various industrial projects
expected to be launched in the industrial cities of Al Anbar,
which will be announced during the conference.
Major local, Arab and international investment companies are
taking part in this conference to take advantage of these rare
investment opportunities now available in Al Anbar, and the
unprecedented incentives offered by the Iraqi government to
investors.
Al Anbar, the biggest Iraqi governorate in area, is a promising
investment attraction because of its outstanding geographical
location near Baghdad and its border with three countries, which
appeals to investors to create new and competitive markets. The
governorate has adopted long-term investment strategies aiming
at employing the unique resources and assets of Al Anbar, a city
renowned for its well-established and diverse industrial
activities, in addition to several other successful investment
stories in the sectors of housing, agriculture and tourism.
Investment in Al Anbar this year had reached $2 billion in the
sectors of housing, agriculture and industry, a number that is
expected to double in the coming months as a result of the
planning by Al Anbar Investment Commission to establish multiple
industrial cities in Ramadi, Anna and Hīt.
